Le Saint-Esprit dirige
l'esprit de l'homme, pas simplement son âme. On ne découvre pas ses
conseils en relation avec le problème mais on les découvre en
relation avec Jésus-Christ … Nous voulons défendre nos points de
vue et marcher comme nous le voulons; mais c'est la personne humble
que Dieu guide pour donner un jugement (Psaume 25,8-9). La condition
d'un esprit éclairé est un cœur qui s'abandonne à Dieu … Si un
homme est droit dans son cœur avec Dieu, Dieu s'occupera du
problème. Nous commençons souvent la question quand aux conseils sur
une mauvaise finalité. Nous ESSAYONS tout le temps : nous sommes
préoccupés, nous sommes paniqués. Que devrions-nous faire après ?
Quelle est la prochaine étape dans la vie. Notre âme nous
préoccupe. Dieu est préoccupé par notre esprit- celui dont le cœur est
humble, contrit et brisé : c'est cet personne que Dieu guidera
toujours.

The Holy Spirit leads the
man's spirit, not [merely] the man's mind. Guidance is not discovered
in relation to the problem, but guidance is discovered in relation to
Jesus Christ... We want to stand up for ourselves and have our own
way; but it is the MEEK whom God guides in judgment [Psalm 25:8,9].
The condition of an enlightened mind is a surrendered heart... If a
man in his heart is right with God, God will deal with the problem.
We often start the question of guidance at the wrong end. We are
TRYING all the time; we are worrying our way through; we are panicky.
What shall we do next? What is the next step in life? We are
concerned about our mind. God is concerned about our spirit - the
humble. the Contrite, and the brokenhearted - that man God will
always guide.
