Mais avec le Christ, nous avons accès à une relation individuelle, car, comme dans l'Ancien Testament, il s'agissait plutôt d'une relation d'adoration et de crainte, une relation verticale. Dans le Nouveau Testament, par contre, nous regardons en face un Jésus qui nous est familier, une relation horizontale. C'est cette combinaison qui fait la Croix.
