Il pensait à nous sur la croix

Quand Jésus regarda d'en haut de la croix, il ne pensait pas « Je me donne moi-même à toi car tu es tellement attirant pour moi ». Non, il agonisait et il nous regardait – le reniant, l'abandonnant et le trahissant – et dans le plus grand acte d'amour de l'histoire, il RESTA. Il dit : « Père, pardonne-leur car ils ne savent pas ce qu'ils font ». Il nous a aimé, non pas parce que nous étions attirant mais pour nous rendre attirant.
